About Sankofic Journey

Sankofic Journey was established in 2016 with the mission is to eliminate internalized racism. Through our k-5 curriculum we aim to counter stereotypes, and racist notions about people of African heritage with fact-based accounts of the lives and experiences of people. In addition, we strive to provide young readers at the critical age in implicit mental development with tools to counter attack the negative messaging they encounter in our current society. 

Throughout the years Sankofic Journey has grown to be much more, we have created others ways to educate through our authentic African handmade products which can be found at 
SankoficGems. Additionally, all previous and upcoming educational programs such as The Inclusive Family Workshop Series can be found at its new home SankoficEducation and soon their own website.
